Work doesn't have to be stressful - there are tools to help you achieve wellness and succeed in business.
The first thing, anyone who has or works at a business, should do is take pictures of your workspace and surroundings. Look at your workspace photos and ask yourself if that looks like a healthy and energizing place to work. Then begin making necessary changes to your space that will encourage thoughtfulness and inspiration. Here are some suggestions to consider:
Get organized. The only papers on your desk should be those you're currently working with (or try going paperless and keeping all of your documents on in your computer or in a cloud).
De-clutter. It sounds harder than it is - minimize the "stuff" surrounding you.
Clear your computer. If you have 200 icons on your desktop or files you haven't looked at in years - move them to their own neat folder properly named [Misc]
Take advantage of color. Use soothing, inspiring, and energizing colors like soft yellow, light blue, light violet, light green, etc...
Bring in live plants. Plants and trees are very essential! You won't believe the difference after 2 short days. If you don't have a green thumb, here are some plants that like offices and don't need a lot of attention. - https://www.plants.com/c/office-plants

Turn on the tunes. Music is a powerful tool, so be careful with your selection. Sad songs or slow sleepy sounds will have an opposite effect from what you're looking to accomplish.
Pay attention to light. Natural light is highly recommended, but that can't be your only source of light so be sure to select lamps that are a good light source and not stressful on your eyes - Medium brightness LED lights are good.
Keep it simple. Don't over complicate this process, make it a joyful experience.
